 Physical Defense
The Physical Defense attribute determines how resilient a piece of armor is against certain physical damage types. For every 100 defense, the armor tends to block approximately 10% of that type, along with some additional magical defense. As detailed below, the physical stats for a piece of armor are W / X / Y / Z:
- W is Normal Damage.
- X is Striking Damage.
- Y is Slashing Damage.
- Z is Thrusting Damage.
 Elemental Defense
The Elemental Defense attribute determines how resilient a piece of armor is against certain elemental damage types. As detailed below, the elemental stats for a piece of armor are X / Y / Z:
- X is Magical Damage.
- Y is Fire Damage.
- Z is Lightning Damage.
Resistance determines how resilient a piece of armor is against certain status ailments. As detailed below, the properties for a piece of armor are X / Y / Z:
- X is Bleed Resistance.
- Y is Poison Resistance.
- Z is Curse Resistance.
Poise determines how resilient a piece of armor is against being stunned. The higher poise a player obtains, the player will have less of a chance of being staggered when hit.
Durability is the effectiveness of the armor, which can deteriorate when in use among other instances. Once the durability falls below 30%, the armor will suffer severely lowered defenses and the armor itself will break once it reaches 0%, but it will not disappear.
 Equip Burden
Equip Burden is essentially the weight of the piece of armor as there is no definitive source of measurements in the game. Your movement, roll speed, and running ability will vary depending on your equip burden, amongst other factors.
